Fun at grand beach

We just went for a short visit but Kason was awake the entire time! Way to go Kason!
Can't wait to actually go to the beach and play in the water with him!

My fave parts of the visit is that Garry went down for naps when Kason did. Must be nice to be on similar napping schedules!

Thanks to u guys and mom for babysitting yesterday too while I went to my ultimate frisbee game! Love that kid- but I missed my frisbee!!

We re so excited that Garry and Bonnie will be living so close! Lots of. Hangouts soon!!

Back to my old weight!

I did it!! Now I'm going to work hard to lose another 15 lbs! Here is me on June 12th and me today! I'm pumped!

This is so true! My mom always told me that childbirth hurt but you forget it! You are right mom! I forgot the pain- but I will never forget that first night I only slept in 45 min increments! Ouch!!

Kyle and Ashley's wedding

We had a great time and kason was great! He slept during the entire meal! Finally, we got to enjoy a nice meal together!

My fave moment was Nicole's speech for Kyle and Ashley. Loved it!

45 minute run today and thanks for all the compliments on how good I look. I haven't weighed myself in almost a
Month!!! I'm curious but also very happy with how I look regardless of the number on the scale!

I guess being mom to this cute kid is motivation to stay healthy!

Kason in his exersaucer!

He is way too small for it- but we can't resist!

His cry has also become super super loud! I won't do a sound bite for you!

Kel and I are taking advantage of the cooler summer air to take Kase outside during the day. He LOvES it!

Worst night of our lives

Kase got sick!!! He woke up crying at about 1200 and vomited for the next few hours. Watching your 3 month old gag and puke is heartbreaking. All we could do was hold him.
After a big nap in my arms he started to eat and at about 7am he cracked us a smile! Must be nice to have such short memories.

Kel and I were classic first time parents- we had everything ready to go to the children's hospital but decided to call health links first and the nurse talked us through it. A line she said that we will never forget? "you are parents now- you are going to have times where you stay up with a vomiting child".
My respect for my parents went up tenfold. It reminded me of a time when I was young an my mom sat in a rocking chair in my room with a bowl- and the only warning I gave her was when I sat up quickly- but she always got that bowl there in time. I think she sat there ALL night. Thanks mom!

So- I have had about 2 hours sleep, and Kason seems to be back to normal and is no longer showing any signs of dehydration. Still hard to sleep without staring at him tho. Thank god for coffee!

Let's hope for a good night tonight!
