We spent a night at our friends cabin at Dorothy lake. Lucky for me- kason was up at 545- so we went for a walk to make the best of it.

Happy Mother's Day!

Being a mom I can appreciate so much more what my mom and Kelly's mom did for us. Yup- we deserve this one day! Looking forward to Kelly's brunch surprise tomorrow!

The end is just the beginning

While my leave from work comes to an end, the journey of Kason's life is just beginning. Made the most of the day today going to St. Vital park and then crashing Auntie Michelle's birthday party.

Go Jets No!

Spent some time watching hockey with Kason before he goes to bed. Jets in the hunt right until the last week, bad sadly, they miss the playoffs.

Making the most of the weather

When Sharon was nice enough to go back to work early and let me have 4 weeks of Pat leave, I had big plans. All of April and the first week of May? I had visions of taking Kason to the park, going for walks and getting Slurpees or ice cream, playing on play structures, but I did not envision the coldest April on record. Oh well, we are tough and know how to make the most of it.

Golf Dome

Trip with Papa to the Golf Dome. 3 things were confirmed: I am terrible at golf, Kason had fun, Papa likes chicken wings. When Dad went to get his order, I put Kason on the putting green, he grabbed a ball, and hit it right into the hole from 10 feet; a natural.
