Ya I did

Settling in on the Pat. Leave and starting to live like a stay-at-home mom. Not to the extent of watching Days of Our Lives, but close. I spent much of the day watching The Food Network and that guy Jamie Oliver is onto something, then I thought I'd top the day off with a trip to Ikea. I'm in full-blown Mr. Mom mode.

Dr. Appointment and good times

Today Kason had an allergy test where they put 8 pokes in his arm and just like his dad he has sensitive skin. No crying and some good times in the waiting room. Other than that, he spends a lot of time playing with himself in the mirror. Night time for the start of the Jets game. Check out his slippers!

Taking over the blog!

Feeling really fortunate that I have the opportunity to have PAT leave. Really proud of Sharon for going back to work, and early at that. The tables have quickly turned with me sending pictures and videos of Kason to get her through the work day. I have been looking forward to spending time with Kason and creating even more of a bond than we already have. I've been so busy changing diapers and giving bottles that I've already been at it for a week and this is my first post. I promise I will send more frequent updates. Time is flying by quickly and as much as I daydreamed that Kason and I would walk through parks and play in playgrounds we have been making the most of the weather, not only for his sanity but for mine too!

It's all over folks...

Or maybe it's just beginning!!

I started back at work today and it was not bad! There was a pile of work waiting for me but I was more than ready for the challenge! Probably something that would have surprised anybody who was with me at 9am the previous night as I shed some tears and decided I simply could not leave my babe!
But my wonderful husband is mr. Mom and doing great! Coming home and seeing that little boy for the first time was pretty great too...

So mr. Mom has decided to take over the blog during the next 5 weeks! Enjoy going through this journey with him and Kason!
